Senior Reliability Professional Job Details

POSITION PURPOSE
NextUp Careers Staffing is looking for contract professionals to fill the position below.
Responsible for providing reliability engineering support to client organizations. Senior Reliability Professionals work independently or as team members to assess, design, train and implement preventive maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM) and reliability continuous improvement programs. Senior Reliability Professionals have diverse experience in organizational management, maintenance and reliability, as well as practical experience in plant reliability an/or maintenance management. These individuals normally have exceptional skills and knowledge in particular areas such as work flow management, PM optimization, maintenance technology and/or reliability continuous improvement through FMEA, RCA, RCM, Life Cycle Cost Analysis, and other statistical methods. Senior Reliability Professionals have expertise in process measurement as it relates to assessing current performance, trending and documenting improvement results. The successful candidate prepares the necessary reports and provides presentations and training.

Engineering, Construction Experience (years)
Ten or more years directly related maintenance and reliability experience
- Knowledge of machinery fundamentals, inculding pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, compressors, etc.
- Detailed knowledge of general mechanical fundamentals, such as fits and tolerances.
- Strong understanding of electro-mechanical fundamentals, as well as predictive and preventative maintenance tools.
- Working knowledge of routine and advanced data acquisition techniques.
- Knowledge in spectral, time waveform and phase analysis.
- Working knowledge of other condition monitoring technologies, including oil analysis, thermography, motor circuit analysis and ultrasonics, and their integration with vibration analysis.

- Proficient computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Technical or industry organizatiopn leadership.
- Knowledge of CMMS programs.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work well independently.
- Frequent travel; should be able to drive and fly as routine part of assignments.
