The Process Reliability Leader role is a dynamic assignment that is
designed to help achieve and sustain world class process reliability
performance and capability across the N.A. Soup, Sauce, and Beverage
manufacturing operations. In this position, the individual will further
develop leadership, interpersonal, and technical abilities; have
exposure to/interface with supply chain leadership; influence network
direction as well as contribute to the successes of individual sites
within the network. In recent years, the Process Reliability Leaders
have played a major part in delivering record OEE performance and
savings.
Responsibilities include:
- own, develop, and implement (front analysis through to sustainment)
TPM pillars and best practices across the N.A. Supply Chain
- Serve as TPM and Process Management point of contact/internal consultant for multiple sites
- provide calibration for site leadership on performance, culture, improvement opportunities, people and equipment
- Interface with all functions at plant and corporate office.
- Drive improvement across multiple technology platforms
- support site specific improvement efforts
Principal Accountabilities:
1. 30% - Lead and implement process management and TPM systems and
activities. This includes identifying opportunities, developing system
content, and achieving alignment with the site and network leadership
2. 30% - Provide training/build capability, lead/support local execution efforts
3. 15% - Support improvement efforts/problem solving activities as required
4. 10% - Lead network teams/ assess /report progress
5. 10% - Support other supply chain priorities as assigned
6. 5% - Integrate individual focus with overall program strategy
Job Complexity
• Must effectively lead process management and TPM implementation (front
analysis through to a sustaining effort) in a dynamic environment with
limited resources and multiple priorities
• Must be able to influence and gain site leadership alignment/ participation in key pillar activities
• Provide objective calibration/assessment while maintaining productive relationships with site/business resources
• Simultaneously work with multiple sites in different phases of implementation
• Work across organizational boundaries at the sites and corporate office
• Drive improvement across multiple technology platforms
Requirements :
• B.S. degree in engineering
• 7+ years of production/maintenance experience in continuous flow/ high production rate manufacturing environment.
• Sufficient theoretical knowledge and practical TPM experience to
teach/qualify others, detect obstacles and deployment issues, provide
strategic and hands-on guidance/calibration to achieve desired results.
Preference for AM (Steps1-3) experience
• Strong leadership, communication, facilitation, and collaborative skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop others
• Demonstrated ability to work across functional boundaries and work with all levels of the site organization
• Demonstrated ability to influence direction and deliver results
Working Conditions
• 50 - 75% travel (first couple of years)
