Senior Facility Engineer/Supervisor Job Details
Job Description

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Plan and coordinate facilities upgrades and replacement of equipment
  • Prepare, negotiate, and administer contracts for specialized tasks such as building, remodeling, addition/removal of equipment, and environmentally related tasks
  • Work with internal customers and outside contractors to ensure compliance with plant standards, EPA, DEQ, and OSHA
  • Oversee and provide leadership for the Facilities Maintenance department, including staffing selection, annual reviews and career development
  • Implement and maintain predictive, preventive, and reliability centered maintenance programs
  • Develop annual facilities budget
  • Represent the company in city, county, or state planning reviews or projects.

EDUCATION: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • PE license (Professional Mechanical Engineer) is required.

EXPERIENCE: 

  • A minimum of five years engineering experience relating to facilities operations, environmental, and safety
  • Supervisor experience preferred

SKILLS: 

Successful candidates will:

  • Demonstrate successful administration and negotiation of contracts for specialized facilities work
  • Be effective in the development and coaching of employees
  • Have successfully implemented LEAN manufacturing principles and processes
  • Be familiar with OSHA, EPA, and DEQ regulations
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrate skills in continuous improvement, problem solving, team work, customer focus, organization and flexibility
  • Have working experience with CAD
